But he didn’t act out, wasn’t a people pleaser, and seemed confident, and… by understanding what went wrong then and why it didn’t stop, we’re forced to confront everything we thought we knew about child abuse and how much we never did, or never wanted to. Through stories of people who manage mental health conditions every day, and professionals in the field, this anthology aims to capture the voices of mental health and reveal the work that still needs to be done.

Built for Us: Trying to Access an Inaccessible World (July 2027)

Several people with disabilities share their stories of trying to navigate a world that never took them into account when becoming what it is today, one where accessibility is ignored or viewed as “special treatment,” these authors share their triumphs, works-in-progress, deepest frustrations while asking why there was ever anything to share. An unintentional call to action to make a world built for everyone, no “special treatment” required.

Bi… the Way: (Subtitle TBD, September 2027):

Bisexuality is not indecisiveness, confusion, or a lack of commitment. They can be married, in same-sex or opposite-sex monogamous relationships while feeling completely fulfilled or be completely single. They’re a beautiful group of people but ignorance causes some, straight and those under the LGBTQ+ rainbow, to question the validity of “bisexual.” Let’s clear things up and go straight to the source – an anthology featuring bisexual voices, experiences, and stories told only by them. It’s time to give them their space.

Where’s the Label? (Subtitle TBD, Undetermined 2027 or 2028)

The world has an obsession with labeling people. Gay or straight. Boy or girl. You don’t look disabled. Biracial, can smush two identities together not giving one or both the space they deserve. People aren’t packages, yet we try to box them, tag them, and tie them up in a pretty little bow. This book explores, discusses, and challenges the problem with labels and how they can demean, dismiss, yet empower and be owned. Not everyone fits a label yet they’re as beautiful as ever. Labels can be good only when the wearer wants to wear them.
